De SofFlite is made of soft and flexible plastic. During our frisbeeclinics we discovered that it is a great frisbee for kids age 5 and up. Catching doesn’t hurt as much, and then confidence is built. At the same time the disc is rigid enough to be able to do differnt throwing techniques.
If you are a teacher, these are one of the must haves, together with the training programms of The Ultimate Teacher off course.

Learning to catch a frisbee as a kid
Timing of a catch is the most important thing to learn. But in learning, you make mistakes and thereby your fingers will hit the rim of the disc. That is when you become afraid and turn your head away, stretch your arms as far as possible in front of you and close your eyes. This doesn't help, confidence drops and fair comes in.
This frisbee for kids builds confidence. It's rigid enough to be able to do all the frisbee throwing techniques, but soft enough not to hurt when you get hit in the face or on your fingers. When your kids play with the Sofflite, you can turn around.
The Sofflite is designed for stable throws up to 30 meters.
