Innova DX Zephyr ENG
The DX Zephyr a throw and catch disc, with a large diameter. Depending on the weight it can be used for different disc sports. The Zephyr has long been a favorite for the Overall events of Discathon and Accuracy (just under the weight of 160 grams). But the Zephyr is also great at the beach, at the park or on the disc golf course. It has a very straight and true flight. The Zephyr’s edge gives it extra durability and a great grip, especially for sidearm throws.
To begin with, it is one of the best discs for Accuracy Contests or Discathlon. But is is also great for throw and catch or to introduce Ultimate players to the game of Disc Golf. But for these purposes it is important to find a good match between your skill level and the weight of the disc.
For use in family situations, playing catch on the beach for example, especially with small kids we would advise the lowest weight, around 140 grams. For adults and more wind proof use I Throw and Catch, Discathlon and Accuracy, around 150-170 is good. FYI: The maximum accepted weight in official Accuracy and Discathlon competitions is 159 gram. For Throw and Catch, Experienced Ultimate Players and Disc Golf Use, choose the heavy weight up to 200 grams. It is a great warming up disc for Disc Golf.

COLOR AND WEIGHT
The color of the disc you recieve will not nessecarily be the color shown on this picture. You can tell us your color and weight preferences when you order with us, and we will see what we can do for you.
THE CHOICE OF YOUR FRISBEE
Discgolf discs are not designed to throw and catch. For experienced throwers it is possible, especially with a putter or midrange disc. If you want a disc to play throw and catch, we advise you not to take a discgolf disc, but a disc from the section Ultimate Frisbees in our left menu serves this purpose better. You can find more advice on choosing your frisbee in our FAQ.
